Reflections/Memories 113

  • Big talks are hard. Yes, not going to use “challenging” this time.
  • This coming school year, there will be more people to work with and new people to keep tabs on. It’s really exciting.
  • I know that God knows what we truly want, but sometimes I wish that He would give us the answers distinctly in such a way that we do not mistake other things as what we thought are really His.
  • To settle in a far place makes me anxious. It’s the implications of distance that I find worrisome.
  • One of the saddest/scariest things to happen when scrolling through your news feed is when you know the name but not the face; however, when swimming in a sea of people, it’s when you know the face but not the name.
  • Reading still remains to be one of the greatest forms of escape.
  • There’s nothing better than a cold milk right now.
  • If you can’t stand something, sit down.
  • I can’t find Marissa’s cards or any digital traces of her. Bet she has a family now. You too, Cora. Thanks for the cards Marissa, and thanks for teaching me how to play CS, Cora even if an hour at the net cafe was gold back in the days.
  • “Kute” stole the orange Winnie the Pooh wallet that my then-best friend (wow!) gave me whenI was with my other then-best friend. We’re so glued to the screen due to whatever video games we’re playing (we’re both 13) that none of us noticed that someone fished my wallet from my pocket. I hated having wallets since then until I got a Powerpuff Girls wallet two years later.
  • War and peace do not fit in a single sentence as beautifully as love and hate.
  • How did unicorns become popular again?
  • It is amazing how two completely different people are bound by love. It’s equally amazing how their differences keep them together.
  • Cats are one of God’s greatest creations.
  • Sleep is a good partner. The rest are mistresses.
  • Reading comics, watching cartoons, drawing characters, and reading textbooks used to fill my summer as a kid. (And, burning ants using magnifying glass. Seeing the queen hiding was remarkable.)
  • How far will the minions from Minions go? Will there be a movie with or about them every year?
  • Not choosing is a choice; not having a choice is a terrible choice.
  • Sometimes, I remember some old dreams when I try to remember another dream.
  • We have consciously and unconsciously wanted to look good and feel good but our means to achieve both have become unconventional.
  • 1500 friends but got no one to talk to. 2000 followers but not influential. A fat wallet but no appetite.
  • Some fights are not worth fighting. Like this war. It’s funny how peace can be obtained by having war.
  • I’m more certain of what I feel than before.
  • …but then again, what’s this for? That episode. Just. Not. Now.
  • Someone once said that you only fall in love once. The succeeding ones are reenactments. I disagree.
  • Sleep, come back.
